The Owner + Founder

Starting with a simple love of being creative, Angela Turner has always been passionate about the 'art of giving'.  Formally trained in floral design before graduating from high school, Angela developed a love for making custom  wreaths and hand made bows.  Noticing her artistic eye, Angela's mother asked her to design Christmas gift baskets for her entire staff because she wasn't able to find something unique within her company's budget.  This would eventually grow into Angela making custom Valentine's Day gift baskets for co-workers, custom baby gift baskets for friends and Mother's Day baskets that she sold out of almost immediately in 1998.  After receiving a birthday basket design for especially for her, Angela's aunt said, "I think you've missed your calling".  

On a whim several years later, Angela took a second job working through a busy holiday season at a major retailer.  She learned the technique of professional gift wrapping and its where her attention to the small details of 'presentation' was perfected.  It also set the groundwork for what would become the standard for a high level of customer service that remains a core value of 7 Elements. 

 Angela's extensive corporate background has given her a unique perspective to the 'business' of gifting.  Having worked in Human Resources for 10+ years, she is keenly aware of the importance of branding, sales, marketing, but most importantly taking care of 'people'.  Being tasked with curating a new hire welcome box, designing gift baskets for customer appreciation, and celebrating employee milestones, adding corporate gifting to 7 Elements seemed like a very natural next step.  She began providing gifting services to the realtors in Dallas/Fort Worth area 2008 and has grown that to attending an event that presents annually to over 100 realtors in the value of referral gifting .  In 2018, Angela attended her first National Gift Basket Convention to sharpen her skill set to provide gifting to the hospitality and corporate sectors. To date, she continues to be trained and mentored by some of the gifting industries most successful influencers.     

 

The Company 

7 Elements Gift and Design Co. is an artisan gift company based in Arlington, Texas.  The very name of our company was inspired by the 7 elements of art.  As a unique gifting brand we focus on what we call the (3) C's of designing a gift:  Content, Color, and Creativity.  Our 3 C's allow us to key in on what makes a gift memorable. Whether designing gifts for a bridal party or an entire company staff, our goal is to create a gift experience that is planned, personal, and purposeful. We help you make connections and build relationships one gift at a time.  

 

 

The Mission

We believe that serving is the ultimate calling in life. Driven by our desire to help others, 7 Elements makes an intentional effort to partner with local artisans and other small business owners to source the products we use in all of our designs.  We seek out companies that have a 'story' and also align with our mission to serve a greater purpose. It's our way of helping other social entrepreneurs like us make a greater impact in the world.
